What is a WICRA?

Constructions projects can kick up more than dust. That’s why many projects, especially those in high-risk industries like healthcare, include an Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) that assesses the risks of releasing harmful pathogens and includes strategies to minimize them. Adding water to your ICRA (making it a WICRA) can help protect against dangerous waterborne pathogens like Legionella.

In this info sheet, we look at:

  • How construction events increase the risk of infection from waterborne pathogens
  • How to assess the level of risk associated with a construction project
  • How Pace® WICRA services can help you lower your risk profile
